CV Performance Group X JP Motorsport once again had an intense schedule last weekend. The team was simultaneously competing in the Special Touring Car Trophy in Oschersleben, the second round of the German Kart Championship in Cheb, and the Polo Cup Germany at the Nürburgring. The team collected important results in all three areas, confirming its broad presence in GT racing, karting, and one-make cups.

The sporting highlight was achieved in Oschersleben. In the second round of the Special Touring Car Trophy season, CV Performance Group X JP Motorsport competed with two Mercedes-AMG GT4s. Kyam Potez started solo and delivered a strong performance in the first race. Although an unfortunate full-course yellow period cost the young Slovenian a potential victory, he still finished second overall in his STT debut. Jonathan Engström and Kjell Holm also impressed in the second car, completing a strong team result with third place on the overall podium.

The perfect response came in the second race. Potez capitalized on his strong pace, decisively moved to the front after the pit stop, and celebrated his first overall victory in the STT. He made a clear statement with a lead of over 30 seconds. Engström and Holm finished the second race in fifth place, rounding off a successful weekend in Oschersleben.

Simultaneously, the kart team was challenged at the German Kart Championship in Cheb. On the 1.202-kilometer track at Fun Arena Cheb, a highly competitive field of 145 drivers awaited for the DKM's first guest appearance in the Czech Republic. CV Performance Group X JP Motorsport competed in the Mini, OK-N, and KZ2 Cup categories. The OK-N category once again delivered the strongest results.

Sebastian Verger Morell showed strong development in Cheb, moving up to ninth place in the final. He collected important points and confirmed his improving form. Adrian Lorenz also consistently performed in the upper midfield. After a solid weekend, he finished the final in eleventh place and remains within striking distance of the top positions, holding ninth in the championship.

In the Mini class, Matthias Cavulea gained more crucial race mileage, finishing the final in 26th place. For Max Hezel, the weekend in the highly competitive KZ2 Cup proved more challenging. After an unjustified black flag in the Super Heat, he missed out on qualifying for the final.

CV Performance Group X JP Motorsport also gathered important insights in the Polo Cup Germany. Variable conditions awaited at the Nürburgring, with particularly challenging wet weather on Saturday. For Marlon Di Salvo, it was his first race weekend in the rain with the VW Polo GTI. Despite the demanding conditions, the karting newcomer showed strong pace, at times being only about three-tenths of a second behind the leader.

In the first qualifying session, Di Salvo secured eighth place. However, an electrical problem set him back in the first race, resulting in a 17th-place finish. On Sunday, he built on his good speed, placing the Polo in fifth during the second qualifying session. In the race, he initially finished seventh but was later demoted to ninth due to a post-race penalty.

The team continues with its next double-header next weekend. The IAME Series Germany visits Wackersdorf. GT4 South kicks off just outside Madrid in Jarama.
