CV Performance Group presents 2023 driver lineup

In 2023, the CV Performance Group will again compete in the ADAC GT4 Germany with two Mercedes-AMG GT4s. Christian Voß’s racing team wants to have a strong say in the title fight in the 2023 season.

The CV Performance Group will also be represented in the ADAC GT4 Germany in 2023. After its debut season last year, Christian Voß’s racing team will once again compete with two Mercedes-AMG GT4s in the ADAC’s top-class GT4 championship. Last year, Julian Hanses finished the championship in sixth place as the team’s best-placed driver – in the team standings, the racing team from Niederzissen ended the racing year in fourth place.

Jan Philipp Springob, who has been competing in the ADAC GT4 Germany since 2019, will return to the CV Performance Group in 2023. The 22-year-old from Olpe already competed for the team in karting from 2012 to 2018 and achieved notable success: in 2017 and 2018, he became champion in the ADAC Kart Masters for CV Performance. His partner in the Mercedes with the starting number #85 will be Simon Connor Primm. The two drivers already took part in the GT Winter Series in the winter to prepare for the season, in which Primm narrowly missed out on winning the title.

In the sister car, which carries the starting number 84, Ferdinand Winter enters his second season with the CV Performance Group in the ADAC GT4 Germany. After an apprenticeship year last year, the 19-year-old from Schweinfurt wants to regularly attack the top 10 positions in the 2023 season. After an apprenticeship year last year, the 19-year-old from Schweinfurt wants to regularly attack the top 10 positions in the 2023 season. Winter will share the Mercedes-AMG GT4 with Patrick Steinmetz, who is also entering his second season in ADAC GT4 Germany and joins the team from Niederzissen.

“We are looking forward to the 2023 season in the ADAC GT4 Germany,” said team boss Christian Voß. “After our experiences in our debut year in 2022, we have strengthened ourselves over the winter and are going into the new season stronger. Our goal is to be in contention for the title this year! Our performance in the test drives has given us a very positive outlook in this respect. Now we’re looking forward to the season opener at Oschersleben.”

The ADAC GT4 Germany will kick off the new season at Oschersleben on the Whitsun weekend. All six race weekends will take place as part of the supporting program of the DTM, which will be held under the ADAC flag for the first time this year. The ADAC GT4 Germany races will be shown live on free-TV on Sport1. In addition, ADAC will broadcast the races in the official livestream via YouTube and the official website of the racing series.
