ADAC Kart Masters champion 2022

The CV Performance Group celebrated a perfect end to the season last weekend. At the finale of the ADAC Kart Masters, the team around Christian Voß was in top form in Mülsen, Saxony, and scored a complete success. In the X30 Seniors, the KR Kart ensemble with Herolind Nuredini drove to a hard-fought overall victory. Torben Gröhndahl completed the top team performance and ended up in a great third place in the top-class championship.

In the Arena E, the ninth and tenth rounds of the ADAC Kart Masters were all-important once again last weekend. After a successful performance throughout the season so far, the CV Performance Group traveled to eastern Germany with great ambitions. In the last event of the year, the team was really challenged once again: Dry phases alternated with sometimes heavy rainfall, literally putting the 1,315-meter course under water.

Back in the ranks of the CVPG, Moritz Mohr attacked in Mülsen in the mini category. But unfortunately the young racer lacked the necessary racing luck on the demanding track. In the first race, Moritz dropped out, but then made up ground to the midfield in the second race.

Meanwhile, his brother Alex Mohr gave full throttle in the X30 Juniors and celebrated a strong comeback in the colors of the CV Performance Group. In the first race, the youngster just missed the top three in fourth place. In the last race of the year Alex was also among the front runners and finished eighth.

For Redijon Bytygi, the weekend got off to an even more promising start with second place in qualifying. After a messed-up heat, the up-and-coming racer started the races from eleventh place, where he again made a clear statement. Redijon had his sights firmly set on a top-five finish on two occasions.

However, despite setting the fastest time in the first race, time penalties meant that he ultimately only finished tenth. In the first race, Frazer Anderson crossed the finish line in a strong sixth place – after which the Briton was still eighth despite a spoiler penalty.

Herolind Nuredini experienced a perfect season highlight in the X30 Seniors. The man from Oststeinbek was consistently among the top drivers in the classification in Mülsen and left no room for doubt in the end. With a victory in the last race of the season, the CVPG protégé made a clear statement and beamed from the podium in the evening as the new ADAC Kart Masters champion.

Torben Gröhndahl also caused great joy. The Northern German drove good races in the Arena E and presented himself in a pleasing manner in the races. With ninth and seventh place, Torben scored enough points to complete the CVPG lineup in third place at the championship ceremony.

Louis Kulke also put in a strong performance. In qualifying he was still in 28th place in the full field of drivers, but the experienced karting driver made considerable progress in the qualifying heats. Throughout the heats, Louis underlined a clear upward trend, crossed the finish line twice in good sixth place in the races and thus missed the cup ranks by a hair’s breadth.

Christian Voß could hardly have hoped for a better season finale:

What a moment. After a season of hard work, we got it right today. Herolind said goodbye to his terrific racing year with a victory and put the crown on his head after an impressive performance. A big thank you to our whole team who did a terrific job over the races.
